It’s really great to see that people take good care or our releases as you can see on these two pictures submitted by Mike Faulkner showing the vinyl postcard package by Ceschi & DJ Scientist.  Thanks a lot!

Seit heute ist die Compilation “Goose Bumps 4.0″ erhältlich. Das Label Milled Pavement bringt damit den vierten und letzten Teil der Serie heraus, und dieses Mal sind es noch mehr Songs und Mitwirkende: 66 Songs von 96 Künstlern auf vier CDs, und die vierte davon darf ich mit “Kein Video auf Youtube” eröffnen. Lustigerweise ist der Song als explizit deklariert, wie man bei Amazon sehen kann, obwohl ich ausnahmsweise einmal nicht geflucht habe.

The music video by Musclebeaver for Mochipet’s Remix of Kraddy’s “Android Porn” got a nice feature in the Hong Kong based art & design magazine IDN.  The article and the included dvd feature the video in regards to their article about sports-related motion works.

This thursday, August 26th, 2econd Class Citizen will perform a live set at The Hare & Hounds in Birmingham. If you live near, don’t miss the show!

Während meiner Abwesenheit hat ein weiteres Kollaborationsprojekt von epilog und mir auf dem neuen Label postrap das Licht der Welt erblickt. Auf allen 14 Songs des Albums “Wille und Wahn” rappt epilog, wobei er zuweilen die Unterstützung von Audio88, babel fishh, James P Honey, James Reideer, Zoen und mir hat, und ich habe sämtliche Musik beigesteuert. Für mich war das eine neue Erfahrung, weil es das erste komplette Album ist, das ich für einen anderen Rapper produziert habe.

Almost a year ago, Ceschi was interviewed in Berlin by German journalist Bianca Ludewig while he was on tour in Europe. The interview is now published in French and Englisch on the website Substance-M. It is still very interesting to read and features a lot of background information about Ceschi, his own label Fake Four, and his collaboration with DJ Scientist.

Misanthrop und Omega Takeshi sind DAS FEST und haben einen Song, der passenderweise “F.E.S.T.” heißt. Seit gestern läuft die Premiere des zugehörigen Videos, das an den bis jetzt wahrscheinlich kältesten und heißesten zwei Wochenenden dieses Sommers entstanden ist, auf Mixery Raw Deluxe:

Regie geführt hat Anatol Anderswo, und Chefkameramann war Jonas Spriestersbach. Ein zusätzlicher Dank gebührt Wenzel und Adrian, den beiden Steady Cam-Operatoren und jens.cocon, dem Method (Acting) Man.

Das Lied ist übrigens auf der 7inch. Diese enthält einen Download Code für das gesamte Album, das es auch als CD gibt, und beides kann man nach wie vor hier per Email bestellen.

Seit Anfang des Jahres ist der schwedische Rapper THMS (formerly known as Mr. T) Mitglied des Kollektivs New Cocoon geworden. Sein Album “Rum213″ von 2006 könnte dem ein oder anderen bekannt sein, unter anderem enthält es ein Audio88-Feature. Man kann es hier kostenlos herunterladen.

Seit einiger Zeit mache ich mit THMS Musik, d.h. konkret eine EP, die zur Hälfte fertig ist und noch dieses Jahr erscheinen soll. Davor wird in Bälde sein Album “CTRL ALT DELETE” erscheinen, auf dem ich bei einem Song rappe, einen produziert habe und wahrscheinlich, wenn die Zeit reicht, einen Remix machen werde.
